McCrory to Run for Re-election

Charlotte Mayor Pat McCrory said Tuesday he’ll run for a seventh term this fall.

No other mayor has served more than four of the two-year terms.

“I still have the energy, I have the enthusiasm, I have the experience and I want to see things finished that we started,” he said in an interview on the front porch of his Myers Park home.

    They were talking about that on the radio yesterday on 1110AM when I was on my home from work. I think that is the John Hancock show? Not certain, but he said that nobody from Mecklenburg County ever wins the Governor’s race.

    Well I beleive the only person that has run for Governor was Richard Vinroot. But it will be a hurdle that he will have to jump over
