Ceips Learns From Left, Plays Race Card On Davis

Sen. Catherine Ceips came out swinging at a candidate forum Thursday, criticizing her opponent for a “negative, nasty mudslinging campaign” then quoted a black state Supreme Court justice’s likening political nonprofits to “the new face of the Klan.”

Ironically, Ceips accuses Davis of running a negative campaign and slings a gargantuan piece of pooh at him while doing so. Ceips’ “Klan” quote has to do with a race baiting statement by a nincompoop State Supreme Court Justice, Don Beatty, who stated in a Wednesday interview that the third party groups that have been attacking Republican candidates for voting for the left wing Beatty “are the new face Klan.” Beatty’s accusation is disgraceful and he acted in a dishonest and dishonerable way by making it, but it seems despite Beatty’s successful career, he too learned a long time ago, like many left wingers, that when you’re being attacked on your views just throw out racism to try and squash the truth.

It’s really pathetic that Ceips would latch on to that statement to try and paint a vehemently dishonest picture of Tom Davis. Perhaps she doesn’t what she sees in the recent polling of the race.
