They are on the wrong side of it and are using scare tactics to try and frighten people from supporting the push to lift these drilling bans. While a few of them are coming around, most of them don't have the balls to stand up to the extremist environmental movement whom they are beholden to and instead support what's best for their constituents. There are have been oil rigs in the Gulf for years and they held up perfectly fine through Hurricane Katrina and others. The Democrats are in for a rude awakening on this issue.
