Will the Media Report if his Pants Catch on Fire?
Perhaps you’ve seen this little gem on your TV screens recently-
Wow… Excuse me for a sec… I need a tissue.
Whew, OK… I’m back. Yes, the ad was very heartwarming. From the soft black-and-white photos to the soaring music, it’s a veritable campfire hugfest brought right into your living room.
It’s also a big ol’ crock of bullsh*t.
What the MSM won’t tell you is that the Obamessiah came into your living room and lied right to your face about his record. Specifically, the portion where he claimed to have voted for welfare reform and took credit for slashing welfare rolls by 80%.
According to Dick Morris and verified by FactCheck.org, Obama opposed the 1996 welfare reform act at the time. The law he cited in the ad, and for which he took credit, was the local implementing law the state was required to pass, and it did- almost unanimously.
So let’s get this straight. Not only did Obama oppose welfare reform (one of the few things the government actually got right back in the 90’s), but he lied to you about supporting it. Does that fall under “hope”, or “change”, or both?
People in this country better wise up. They’re about to elect an dreadfully inexperienced man who’s record of accomplishments is so weak that he has to pull lies out of his a** to compensate for it. Worse, the media is not doing it’s job in exposing him for the underwhelming hack he really is.
