Response from Carolinas Clean Air Coalition

Published by Bane Windlow at 6:56 pm under Environment, North Carolina

A few days ago I wrote about the lawsuit won by Duke Energy and the State of North Carolina over a cap and trade provision in the Clean Air Interstate Rule. I wrote the Carolinas Clean Air Coalition requesting more information on their sources for some of the statistics they cited. I received a response from Kelly Picarsic, the Online Communications Manager with the organization. She directed me to the Clean Air Task Force Web site that has several links to the EPA and other Federal environmental organizations. If you visit some of those sites and read through them there is some interesting information in there.

Cap and trade is an insidious hidden tax that the true beleivers in the cult of manmade global warming are attempting to impose on us, which with raise our energy bills. Fortunately, the US Senate with help from Senator Burr (but NOT Dole!!!!) has killed a much broader version. All freedom loving people need to fight hard against cap and trade, carbon taxes, and other statist nonsense.

Dr. Vaclav Klaus, current President of the Czech Republic has a great book out that explains just what the enviros are about. In ”Blue Planet in Green Shackles”, President Klaus explains how politicized enviromentalism is a budding totalitarian ideology that is the greatest threat to freedom, democracy, and prosperity in the world today.
