Senate Bill Aimed at Making Absentee Ballots from Overseas Count
Fox news has reported that a majority of military absentee ballots are not counted and a super majority of service members are not being made aware of their right to a absentee ballot.
“It should be a national scandal that, here, our men and women in uniform who are protecting our freedom who are exposing themselves to harm are being denied the most basic civil right, and that is the right to vote,” Cornyn said.
A reason that the Democrats are not behind this measure is because they know a majority of service members tend to vote Republican. They should be ashamed of themselves and not assume how our military service members vote. Just like their failure on drilling for oil, the Democrats fail on this basic civil right for our service members.
