Sorry, We’re All Out of Arugula and Truffles
GREENSBORO, N.C. - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama made an unannounced stop in Greensboro on Wednesday, greeting surprised patrons at a farmer’s market while taking care to avoid questions about plans to name a running mate.
The Illinois senator spoke with a number of shoppers about their families, munched on homemade biscuits and purchased some pound cake, tomatoes and corn, along with a number of other items for the road.
No word on whether or not he asked for arugula.
