Jury Convicts Former Rep. Wright

RALEIGH - A Wake County jury today convicted former state Rep. Thomas Wright of felony obstruction of justice.

Judge Donald Stephens sentenced Wright to six to eight months in prison, to run concurrently with a prison term Wright already is serving for fraud. He is scheduled for release from prison May 31, 2015.
