Hanesbrands to lay off 8100
Winston-Salem based Hanesbrands has announced it will lay off 8100 workers across five countries in order to expand overseas operations in Asia. The laid off workers will be here in the U.S. and Central America and include workers in four North Carolina cities: Eden, Gastonia, Forest City, and Rockingham. So much for free and fair trade.
