I am so against this bailout.Im sad to say,Im not registered to vote, but plan to rectify that this week.I will vote against all those politicians who voted for the bailout. So far Lindsey Graham is #1 on my list.I am ashamed of my representation in SC.They are as self serving as the rest of the do nothing lame congress we have and the biggest problem with whats happening in this country. If they do this, they have doomed our future generations to bear the legacy of my generations folly.

I am going to vote against anyone who voted for the Bailout, I don't care what else their opponents stand for. As long as they opposed the Bailout, I'm for them.

I want to thank the NC representatives who voted NO on the bailout bill. I am a hardworking US citizen who is not in financial trouble. I don't want my taxes to go to those people who have been irresponsible and greedy. I don't however understand why the Democrats are blaming Republicans when there were enough Democrats to pass the bill. Also, wasn't Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae started during the Clinton administration?

We don't need this bail out. Let the chips fall where they may. Giving money to people that have already shown they cannot be trusted with money. We don't want greed being rewarded by tax payers!

I own a small construction business in NC and was among the first to feel the effects of this recession. That said, I am 100% against this bailout! My credit is good and there is no problem with getting loans from my bank. These things are fact because I don't spend every dime I make! Nor do I use my banker to meet my payroll. These are simple and sound financial decisions. If a business fails due to the failure of this bill, it probally has no business in business. If your 401K loses, guess what? History shows the market will bounce back and if you invested in the get rich quick scheme crying to get on the public dole, you're getting the downside of RISK!

Thank goodness it was not passed.
The powers that be are attempting to prop up this house of
cards they created with vapor.
Trying to throw good money after bad at something that can not be fixed by them. It only would delay the inevitable meltdown that must occur for normalization.

They are just using scare tactics to bully us all into believing in this pile of dung called the bailout. I am so glad this was so close to the election because everyone better think long and hard about who they are representing who will or will not put them back in office based on this issue.

All South Carolina voted yes with the exception of Gresham Barrett (R-SC-03). It was Dems and Republicans alike that voted yes for South Carolina.

I am very unhappy with our gov. and the representatives that voted against the bailout. We are on the verge off losing our business (like alot of other people)-- we need money to start moving around again. You people should have had more control over the lenders to begain with and we would not be in this spot. I am a Republican but I am going to be voting against some of you. If some of the money being used for the campaign were put to good use in the bailout it would help. That would tell us whom was really interested in our economy!!!!
