N.C. Voters Oppose Vouchers, but Like Stem Cell Research
Nearly half of the North Carolina residents surveyed last week expressed opposition to school vouchers, while a majority are in favor of stem cell research, according to an Elon University poll released this morning.
The four-day poll surveyed 477 adults and was conducted from Sept. 29 through Oct. 2. The poll has a margin of sampling error of 4.6 percentage points, according to the university.
Yippee. A majority of our state has no problem with an incompetent government monopoly sentencing our next generation to a sub-par education. The stem cell question didn’t take into account differences between adult and embryonic stem cells, so I guess that isn’t too bad. But it shows that ALL of us have a lot of work to do to start changing the minds of our fellow “sheeple”.
