Saluda County Candidate’s Forum
A Saluda County Candidate’s Forum, sponsored by the Saluda County Chamber of Commerce, Saluda Lion’s Club, and American Legion Post 65, will be held Saluda Elementary School Library, 200 Matthews Drive, ont the following dates and times:
October 14th: 6:30 – 7:00 - House Seat 39 - Frye/Cain; 7:00 – 7:30 - Senate Seat 18 - Cromer/Ellisor; 7:30 – 8:00 - Saluda County Sheriff - Booth/Perry.
October 16th: 6:30 – 7:00 - County Council District 2 - Pugh/Corley; 7:00 – 7:30; Treasurer - Addy/Shealy; 7:30 – 8:00 - Senate Seat 25 - Massey/Anderson.
Each candidate will open with five minutes of introductory comments. The next 20 minutes will be spent with a moderator asking questions of the candidates. These questions will be taken from the public.
It is requested that the public send questions prior to the forum. Questions can be emailed to the following email address: saludacountychamber@embarqmail.com. Please include which race and which candidate the question is for. Written questions will also be accepted directly from the audience during the forum.
