Fraternity Suspended from Intramural Sports for Having Confederate Flag on Banner…….. In North Carolina

H/T to Caleb at Cabarrus Cheap Seats

It appears we have another case of a university administrator who has to double up on underwear because he can’t stop wetting himself.  An administrator at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington, from New York of course, suspended a fraternity from engaging in any intramural sports through the rest of the year, because they entered the playing field with a banner displaying their fraternity name, fraternity crest, and (HORROR!!) a small Confederate flag.  Can you imagine the site of a Confederate flag in the southern U.S.?  Whoever heard of such a crazy thing?  It’s madness I tell you!  Madness!

Read the whole encounter here at Townhall.  I think you’ll find after reading the whole story that the entire incident is patently absurd and I think these young men should sue the university for abridging their Constitutional right to freedom of expression.
