Conservatives Gain Influence in SC State Senate
Gov. Mark Sanford appears to have picked up added support to bring pressure to pass more of his agenda. Davis, Mulvaney and Dorchester’s Mike Rose are likely Sanford allies.
This is positive in the sense that Sanford should get a little more support from the Senate on fiscal issues. It still may not be enough, but it’s a step in the right direction. The RINOs have been somewhat marginalized as a result of this year’s elections, but there is still a lot of work to do.
