I sent a 6-question questionnaire to all four candidates for NC GOP Chairman, plus both candidates for Vice-Chairman. Some of them responded immediately, and some needed to be pestered, but in the end I got answers from all of them:

(BTW, I am very encouraged by most of their answers!)

So maybe you should try pestering Tom?

He's a busy man, and sometimes it's the squeaky wheel that gets the grease.

This is in response to RepubWing's inaccurate comments and assumptions. First of all, Chad Adams was not an officer, nor was he on the Executive Committee of the Lee County Republican Party during the time when the paperwork was not filed. Lee County in the past has been a Democrat-controlled county. Since Chad became involved in Lee County politics, we now have 2 Republicans on the Board of Commissioners, 2 conservative Republicans on the Sanford City Council, and a Republican sheriff. You allege no reorganization papers have been filed in 2009 to date. Where did you get that information? The NCGOP was present at our 2009 March convention when we adopted the State Plan of Organization and elected our new leadership. We had 151 Republicans in attendance, and 96 delegates out of a possible 100 delegates from 10 precincts. Small Lee County probably had one of the best attended and well organized county conventions in the state. Chad Adams is anything but a failure in Lee County. RepubWing, your comments sounds like a last ditch desperation attempt.

Chad Adams has claimed that he is the candidate with the most experience and capability to raise money for the party. Ive been informed that Adams was a failure with the Republican Party in his own county, Lee. He was a county treasurer and county chairman that failed to file State Board of Elections Finance reports. The SBOE terminated Lee's Republican Party committee. The party was fined $1,500 to be later reduced to a $100 Civil Fund fine. No reorganization papers have been filed in 2009 to date. After an investigation, these are actual facts.

In 2008 Lee County was officially unorganized for having failed to call a convention. Chad Adams claims that he is the candidate that will get the job done. Now how is that so when he let down his own county and could not raise funds? Where was is concern for his own county? If he is a failure in Lee County how is it possible that he could be successful as the Chair for the State?
