Brad Miller Death Threat

The word on the street is that Congressman Brad Miller (D-NC-13) has received a death threat over the whole ObamaCare affair.  I’ll keep my ears open for more information if I hear it.

Update: It seems to be only a few left blogs talking about this like the Daily Kook, but ABC does have something on it.

At this point after the incredible lies Democrats, lead by Pelosi, Reid and Obama, have been telling I can’t take this seriously. My first reaction now is that it’s made up to gain sympathy or it’s a liberal twit trying to make the concerned citizens of this country look like they are crazy.

Brad miller didn’t even have any meeting planned! I doubt very much he had a death threat, it is just an easy way out for him!

I wonder if this is the start of something else with these clowns.
Maybe they’ll quit holding town halls now claiming “security issues.” A nice easy way to make all the protests go away..

How would you like it if someone made a death threat against you and it was dismissed by ignorant yahoos such as yourselves? I am not in the least bit surprised at death threats…I’m surprised their haven’t been more. These organized mobs are threatening the democratic process…these people don’t care about health care issues…they just don’t like our black democratic president ;o!

Oh yeah, that’s right. Were Racists. I am so sick of you Democrats calling us Racist. I was glad that a black man was finally elected as president but I wish it wasn’t this black man. Now the guy on “24″ that played the president (does insurance commercials) he was cool. Anyhow, it is convenient for you to say we are Racist but truthfully we don’t like Socialism and the people at the rallies are just voicing their opinions. This was alright when it was Democrats protesting but now the racist Republicans are voicing their opinions…that’s not allowed. What are you scared of. Might we have a point? Are you afraid that this President is truly a lier like he is showing himself to be. Withdrawl from Iraq to double down in Afganastan…wow that’s great and more troops are dieing. Get the detainees out of Guantanimo…boy that’s happening fast. How about the Stimulus…bringing back the economy and creating more jobs…not that I can tell. Transparent government at the Whitehouse…it’s worse than Bush. So get of your high horse and stop calling us Racist. We are Americans too and WE DON’T WANT SOCIALISM OR FACISM.

Couldn’t have said it better Rick!! But you have to realize people like Debbie have closed minds and ears to any reason whatsoever! No matter what we say spineless dems like her that have to run to the race table every time they get into a debate they’re losing will never learn!! And by the way debbie what about the black conservative that got ganged up on and beat up by one of Obama’s support groups, is he racist too!? Or is he simply an american who can appreciate the values and freedoms that we have enjoyed and doesn’t want to see those values and freedoms destroyed by a power hungry socialistic regime!!!

First of all I am not a right wing extremist. My wife and I have paid into Medicare for over forty years am entitled to our current benefits. Whatever Congress does only make thing worse. Mr. Obama has made it clear the plan is to cut Medicare. I voted for Mr. Obama but now regret it as he has not ended the war in Iraq. Now he plans on sending more troops to Afghanistan? Not only that special deals are being made with big pharma NOT to negotiate drug prices. Where’s the change? He’s just like Bush.

No, Rick and Tim, we aren’t closed minded and it isn’t that we don’t want to hear opinions other than our own. You spew around not wanting socialism. Are you giving up your social security checks or are your parents or grandparents? Are they giving up access to Medicare which helps – I said helps- control their medical costs? I don’t think so. Unless, you know something I don’t, those programs have socialist roots!

I think my spine is very much intact, thanks for your smear effort. I have had to stand up to Blue Cross and Blue Shield, but it took the state department of insurance to get their attention to start correcting THEIR mistakes. Government regulation isn’t an evil thing. I would LOVE for BCBSNC to have more competition than it does.

And to your comment about the clash between Kenneth Gladney, the conservative activist, and members of a union group – these things happen when a mob mentality is chosen as a course of discourse versus actual discussion. People were arrested & I know that people in Alabama who disagreed with conservatives during the election were shoved around and roughed up, too. So whenever you add gasoline to a fire, what do you expect???
