Graham is being disingenuous. The idea of and the term ‘enemy combatant’ originated with the Bush administration, in an ass-covering measure, so the answer is obviously ‘no’. And bringing up bin Laden as a ‘case in point’ is just asinine when there are real people being held without trial by our government- something the founding fathers would have kicked Graham’s ass over.
Ah, the word games being played right now when the business of government is going undone.
