Dan Blue-D (NC 33rd House) is beholden to PAC’s special interests

Published by Terrell at 11:40 am under Election 2008, NC House, North Carolina, Triangle

Dan Blue has received most of his campaign money from special interest PAC’s to include ElectriCities $1000 and Time Warner Cable $250. You can go to the State Board of Elections site and look under Campaign Finance. One has to wonder where his interests really are. There is a nice multi-page post on ElectriCities and all of the corruption and mismanagement allegations surrounding it on the blog Talking about Politics. And I am glad to see that Dan is receiving support from another multi-billion dollar conglomerate. Will Dan Blue also vote to give millions in tax exemptions to TWC as he has done with Google, Bridgestone, and Goodyear?

Jesse Tilton has his 15 lobbyists making a mad dash to the legislature “to do some splaining” and to try to recover from complaint calls about PAC checks and rate increases. So we need to counter.
